Posting a Reply

You can post a reply in an existing topic.

To post a reply

  1. View the forum that contains the topic to which you would like to post a reply.  Refer to Accessing the Forum/Knowledge Base.

  2. View the topic to which you would like to post a reply.  Refer to Viewing a Topic.

  3. To post a reply:

The Post Reply window appears.

NOTE:  Some forums and topics have restricted posting options.  In these cases, clicking the Post Reply button will display an alert.

NOTE:  When using the Quote function, [QUOTE] and [/QUOTE] tags are placed around the original text.  You can edit the text between the quotes as necessary, but must not modify the tag themselves at all.  Any changes to the tags may result in your post, and possibly the topic, becoming unreadable.

  1. In the Post Information box, enter the following:

  2. In the Notify of New Posts field, select one of the options.  To receive notifications by email and/or fax of new posts to this topic, select Yes.  Otherwise, select No.

  1. (Optional) To check the spelling in the post, click Spell Check.

  2. Click Review, and then review the post information for accuracy.

  3. When you are finished reviewing the post, click Save.

Your post is immediately added to the topic for other users to view.

NOTE:  After posting your reply, you can edit your post at any time.  Refer to Editing a Post.

NOTE: Standard etiquette applies to your postings and usage of these forums. We reserve the right to edit or delete any posting made by any user, and to ban any user for inappropriate comments.
