The Quick Search function provides a fast set of contract, user, and vendor matches to a search string.
TIP: Crafting an effective searches can be an art. For tips on how to run searches, refer to Tips to use in searches.
To run a Quick Search
In the menu, enter a search term in the Quick Search field (near the top of the menu) and click Go.
The user, vendor, and contract databases will be searched for matches and shown in the display window to the right. The first 20 matches for each database are listed.
If you see the item you are search for, click any of the links to access the record.
To see the full list of results (if more than 20 matches), click the Display All Contracts, Display All Vendors, or Display All Users buttons.
To run a detailed search using specific parameters, click the Advanced Contract Search, Advanced Vendor Search, or Advanced User Search buttons.
NOTE: Because the system is search all three databases (contract, vendor, user), it may take longer for the search to run than a single database search. The search time is also dependent upon the number of matches found.
