About the online Help

You can use the online Help to obtain more information about using the Diversity Management System. Although there are multiple methods for completing procedures, the online Help directs you to use the commands on the menus when possible.

Using the online Help

The online Help includes tabs that you can use to navigate through the help system. You can also navigate using the Related Topics button found on some help topics.

Tabs

Contents tab - The Contents tab, located in the left pane of the online Help window, functions as a Table of Contents. You can click a closed book to open the book and expand the list of topics found within that book, and you can click a page beneath the book to access the topic. Topics display in the right pane of the online Help window. Click an open book to close it and collapse the pages/topics within the book.

Index - The Index tab, located in the left pane of the online Help window, functions as an Index. Within the tab, there is a text box and a list of the index key words. You can look up a word in the index by typing it into the text box. As you type, the index scrolls to the closest match of the word you are typing. You can manually scroll through the index using the scroll bar. You can open a topic by clicking the index item.

Search - The Search tab, located in the left pane of the online Help window, allows you to search all topics in the online Help system for specific words and phrases. You type a word or phrase into the text box and press ENTER to list the topics that contain the word or phrase.

Related Topics button - The Related Topics button is found beneath the text or procedure in a topic. Click the Related Topics button to view the list of topics that relate to the displayed topic. Click the topic to view the topic.
